Transforming Lives for Good

Transforming Lives for Good

We would like to thank you for your support over the last 7 years of our upcycling journey. It all started with an impromptu decision and an eagerness to bring something positive to the fashion world. It’s felt like an uphill battle at times, particularly this year, but throughout we have seen consciousness for social and environmental issues increase.

The unique challenges of 2020 have only strengthened our belief in what we are doing and so we feel energised for the next 7 years.

We'll donate 5% of our sales leading up to Christmas

To celebrate our anniversary, we are supporting Transforming Lives for Good in helping disadvantaged children in the UK.

All donations we make will be doubled by Work for Good

Thanks to Work for Good, all of the donations that we raise in the build-up to Christmas will be doubled! Let’s spread some warmth this Christmas.

To be a star, you must shine your own light, follow your path” - Ralph Waldo Emerson. ⠀ ⠀ We spotted this inspiring quote on the website of @paguroupcycle one of the ethical brands that have joined #SmallBusinessStar, and it really resonated with us. As well as raising money for charities, #SmallBusinessStar was created to shine a spotlight on the UK’s unique, change-making indie brands. Companies like Paguro Upcycle who have strong, heartfelt vales and are on a mission to do business differently from the mainstream.⠀ ⠀ Paguro Upcycle is an online treasure trove of fashion and home accessories. But unlike most accessories, these are beautifully crafted from a wide-range of repurposed man-made materials such as rubber inner-tubes and recycled tyres. ⠀ ⠀ Founder Yen works with artisans across the globe, from villages in Indonesia to cities in the UK, all share her same passion for making a positive and environmental impact. These makers produce chic handbags to statement necklaces, dog collars to fruit bowls all crafted from repurposed materials. Every piece is a brilliant ethical Christmas gift!⠀ ⠀ What’s more, this Christmas 5% of every sale between is being donated to the children’s charity Transforming Lives for Good. And as part of the #SmallBusinessStar campaign, money donated in December via our platform will be DOUBLED BY US.⠀ ⠀ Transforming Lives For Good:⠀ For the past 20 years, @TLG_org has given hope and future to children across the UK facing some of the toughest starts in life, from poverty to hunger. Since COVID-19, TLG's community partners have delivered a staggering 400,000 meals to the most deprived families through TLG's 'Boxes of Hope' emergency care packages.⠀ ⠀ - https://workforgood.co.uk/smallbusinessstar-match-funding-campaign/ (link in our bio)⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ #ecofashion #ecofriendly #slowfashion #smallbusiness #femalefounders #smallbizsquad #upcycle #zerowaste #ethicalChristmas #sustainableChristmasgifts #uksmallbusiness #reusereducerecycle #sustainablefashion #handmade #consciousfashion #ecofashion #ecofriendlybag #gifts #greenliving #fairfashion #charity
